This 25m Dutch sea-going barge project was moored on the Thames whilst we carried out the installation of the bespoke heating and cooling system, comprised of three water-to-refrigerant condenser units and custom fan-coil units in each room running from water-based heating and cooling loops.
This is the only job where the whole site changed postcode three times during the installation! The most interesting location was Platts Eyot, a small island in the centre of the Thames only accessible by footbridge – and yet there are several large businesses located there apart from the boatyard. It was latterly moored at the prestigious Penton Hook Marina, with access via a floating pontoon as long as a football pitch.
